Observation

One of the most important roles in my work is to observe signs and symptoms.  This includes doing vital signs and laying my eyes on a person to actually see behaviors and clues that help make a nursing diagnosis.

Spending time with a client is crucial.  Hearing what they and their care givers say help us get the right plan of care for them.  I thank God for the years of watching people and learning how to interpret these clues.  Being a nurse is so cool!
